Dwarves (p36 PHB): A race of gruff, patient craftsmen, Dwarves have built most of the great wonders of the world. Outside of humanity’s great Havens, almost every example of great craftsmanship has had the hands of of a dwarf on it. Dwarves hold long, rich lives, and thus take a more patient view on things then humans tend to. Great smiths, master warriors, and even philosophical thinkers, dwarves long lives and sturdy builds allow them to master many different paths in their road to life. Even a novice dwarven adventurer is probably done another craft for a long time beforehand.
